Faning and I have spent hours talking about her school experiences. She graduated from Secondary School. While a student, she saw injustices by the school to the students and organized a campaign to stop it. It worked. But her support naturally was divided among the school, teachers and students. But she was toughened as to criticism. Her parents stood by her and continue to do so. I have met her mother. They marched in past July 1st pro democracy marches from Victoria Park. Faning decided as a young person she would fight for human rights and become an activist. Her head is on straight about the condition of Hong Kong society and is an entertaining conversationalist. We also talk together about Jesus Christ and the views and actions of Jesus towards injustices.
Although Hong Kong has been falling apart, but we should unite together, chop Demon Slayer!
