Media photographers being restrained to take photos in a public place

Media photographers not being allowed to take photos in a public place while in the performance of their duty.  The public on Facebook is protesting this is a violation of freedom of the press.   I saw a similar thing happen on Friday August 2nd at the Law Ting Pong Secondary School, Tai Po to South China Morning Post photographer.

A cameraman was pushed down during reporting the protests of the protest in Mong Kok.
