Sunday afternoon public protest for Teacher Lin in Mong Kok.

I have tried to understand the Teacher dispute that is swirling around Hong Kong now.  The teacher stood up for the Falun Gong street booth that was set up.  Apparently it was legal.  The police intervened in some way that is not clear to me exactly how.  Teacher Lin then was told by the police to do something.  Teacher Lin questioned the police and was then given a warning and told she would be taken to the police station.  I do not believe that Teacher Lin is a member of Falun Gong but was only stating the group has a right to public assembly.  Teacher Lin is a member of pro democracy political group “People Power” that often practices public assembly and it appears to me she was standing up to the right of “public assembly”.   The demonstration in support to be held at Mong Kong outside of Hollywood Plaza at 2pm.  I expect that it will be very verbal and even altercations may occur, so the public should be careful if you plan to attend or be nearby.
