Occupy Central seeks talks with Church from The Standard Newspaper

The Protestant Church is strangely silent on this issue!

From The Standard: (07-26 12:39)

An organiser of Occupy Central, Benny Tai Yiu-ting, says he plans to meet with the Catholic Diocese to gain a better understanding of its views on his group’s civil disobedience plan.

The diocese has urged the government to consult the public on universal suffrage for the 2017 Chief Executive election, and said it might offer support to the Occupy Central movement. It also published a statement in local newspapers today, urgently calling for dialogue. Tai said he hoped the diocese would give assistance, RTHK reports.
